Viralyze Refund Policy Explained
There are two different refund questions people mean when they search for the Viralyze refund policy. The first is about your own subscription, and the design answer is that you should not need one: every plan starts with a 7-day free trial, no card is collected, and you can cancel anytime. The second is about refunds to your customers for bookings and products, and there Viralyze gives you the controls and processes the refund automatically.
This article covers both, in that order.
Do I need a refund if I stop using Viralyze?
Usually not, because the trial is where you decide. During the 7 days you run the full product, including unlimited Auto-DMs, bookings and the shop, without entering any payment details. Nothing is charged on day eight because there is nothing on file.
If you subscribe and later change your mind, cancelling stops the next renewal. A monthly Starter plan is ₹199, so the exposure is small; for yearly plans (₹1,990 or ₹11,990), the sensible approach is to trial first and subscribe monthly for a month or two before committing to a year.
How do refunds work for my customers' bookings?
You set the rules, and the system does the rest. In booking settings you decide whether customers can cancel on their own and until when, for instance up to 24 hours before the slot. If a customer cancels within that window from their confirmation page, the refund goes back to them automatically.
Because payment is taken upfront by UPI, card or net banking through an RBI-authorised aggregator, the money returns by the route it arrived.
What options does the customer see?
After booking, the confirmation page lets the customer:
- Add the appointment to their calendar
- Reschedule to another open slot
- Cancel, if you have allowed it and the deadline has not passed
WhatsApp reminders go out ahead of the slot, which reduces no-shows and last-minute cancellations in the first place.
How should I set a sensible cancellation window?
Match it to the cost of an empty slot. A worked example for a physiotherapy clinic with three services on its booking menu (45-minute assessment, 30-minute follow-up, and a 15-minute taping add-on):
1. Allow self-cancellation up to 12 hours before the appointment, so the slot can be refilled. 2. Inside 12 hours, cancellation is off, so the customer has to message you and you decide case by case. 3. Keep a 10-minute buffer between sessions so a reschedule does not collide with the next patient.
Google Calendar two-way sync means a cancelled booking frees the slot in your calendar as well as on the booking page.
What about refunds on products and courses?
Products, courses and digital downloads sell through checkout pages at 0% platform fee, with weekly payouts to your bank. Refund decisions on those are yours as the seller; state your policy on the product page so buyers know before paying.
Since there is no commission, a refund you choose to give does not leave you out of pocket on fees the way it can on tools that charge a percentage.
