Switching From ManyChat to Viralyze: A Migration Checklist

19 October 2026

Moving from ManyChat to Viralyze is less of a migration and more of a simplification. Most ManyChat setups for creators boil down to a handful of keyword-to-link rules wrapped in flows. In Viralyze, each of those becomes a keyword, a DM and a tap. The checklist below keeps you from missing anything, including the step people forget: making sure two apps are not replying to the same comment.

Why do creators switch from ManyChat?

Creators usually switch because of per-contact pricing, the Facebook Page requirement and the flow builder. ManyChat's bill grows with your contact list; the Starter plan here is a flat ₹199 a month with unlimited Auto-DMs. ManyChat often needs a connected Facebook Page; the alternative works with just an Instagram Business or Creator account. And a flow builder is more than most creators need to send one link.

ManyChat remains a capable platform for teams who want branching flows. The switch makes sense when you are paying for complexity you do not use.

Before you switch: audit what you have

1. Open ManyChat and write down every live automation: the post, the trigger keywords, the message and the link it sends. 2. Note which ones use a follow condition, since the follow-gate can be switched on per automation. 3. Export your contacts to CSV so your existing leads are not stranded. 4. Screenshot your public comment replies so you can recreate the tone.

A short example audit might read: "Reel of 12 March, keywords LINK and EBOOK, sends ebook checkout, follow required" and "Any post, keyword PRICE, sends rate card PDF".

Rebuild each automation in Viralyze

Each ManyChat flow becomes one keyword automation. For the ebook rule above, the steps are:

1. Pick the 12 March reel as the trigger post. 2. Add the keywords LINK and EBOOK. Keywords are not case-sensitive and handle typos, so "ebok" still fires. 3. Paste the DM text and attach the checkout link. Long messages turn into a downloadable PDF automatically. 4. Switch on the follow-gate so non-followers get up to three polite nudges before the link. 5. Type a sample comment into the live tester to confirm it triggers. 6. Set a schedule if needed, or start now.

The "any post" rule for PRICE uses the any-post trigger, so you do not have to recreate it reel by reel.

Does Viralyze replace the rest of my ManyChat setup?

For most creators, yes, and it adds what ManyChat does not include. Public comment replies rotate between AI variations so the thread looks alive. Replies to your DMs land in one Inbox with the originating comment as context. Bookings with Google Calendar, a 0% fee shop and link in bio come with the same subscription, so if you were using separate tools for those, they can move too.

What does not carry over is complex branching logic. If you had multi-step quizzes in ManyChat, the replacement is intentionally simpler: keyword in, message out.

Go live and disconnect the old app

Run the new automations alongside ManyChat for one day only if you must, then disconnect ManyChat from your Instagram account. Instagram allows one private reply per comment within 7 days, so two apps competing for the same comment causes confusion. Once ManyChat is disconnected, check the per-automation funnel (comments, matched, delivered, clicked) to confirm messages are flowing.

Frequently asked questions

**Will my old ManyChat contacts appear in Viralyze?** Not automatically. Export them to CSV from ManyChat and keep the file; new leads from your rebuilt automations are collected in the contacts list with source tags.

**Do I need to keep my Facebook Page after switching?** The new app does not require a Facebook Page, so that depends only on whether you use it for anything else.

**Can I run the switch gradually?** Yes. Rebuild one automation at a time, but make sure the same post is not live in both apps at once.

Start your 7-day free trial of Viralyze, no card needed, and rebuild your first keyword automation in about a minute.
