How to Set Up Products, Courses and Sessions in One Shop

19 October 2026

Creators usually end up with three tools: one for downloads, one for the course, one for appointments, each with its own link and its own fee. A single shop that understands all three item types removes that mess. In the Viralyze app, a digital download, an online course and a 1:1 session each get a checkout page made for them, and all of them sit on one link-in-bio page or go out by Auto-DM.

Here is how to set up each type, link them and keep them tidy.

What are the four item types, and how do they differ?

Downloads, physical products, courses and 1:1 sessions.

  • A download delivers a file after payment.
  • A physical product collects delivery details and leaves shipping to you.
  • A course grants access to content after payment.
  • A session opens a booking page with a service menu and calendar slots.

Each has a checkout made for its type, so a buyer of a session sees slots and a buyer of a PDF sees a download, not a generic cart.

How do I set up the shop in order?

Start with the simplest item and build up.

1. Add a digital download: name, price, description, file. Viralyze creates the checkout with UPI, cards and net banking. 2. Add a course with its price and what the learner receives. 3. Create your service menu: main services and add-ons, like a salon menu, with durations and prices that combine automatically. 4. Connect Google Calendar once; choose which calendars block slots and where bookings go. 5. Open the link-in-bio page; it lists each item and updates itself with tap counts per link. 6. Create one Auto-DM per item with its own keyword.

A yoga teacher might end up with a ₹299 "Morning Mobility" PDF, a ₹2,999 eight-week course, and a 60-minute private session at ₹1,200 with a "pranayama add-on" for ₹300, all on one page.

Do sessions really need their own system?

Yes, because time is the product. A session checkout must know when you are free, block the slot, invite the client with a Google Meet link for online formats and send WhatsApp reminders. Two-way calendar sync means a slot booked here disappears from Google Calendar and a busy event there disappears from here.

Days off (single dates, partial days such as "after 2 PM", or ranges) and buffers are respected, and you decide whether clients can cancel and until when, with refunds returned automatically.

How do buyers find the right item?

Two routes. The bio page lists everything with tap counts, which suits people who come to your profile on purpose. Comment keywords route people from a specific reel to a specific item: MOBILITY sends the PDF checkout, COURSE sends the course, SESSION sends the booking page.

Because different keywords send different replies, all three can live on a single automation set to "comments on any post", or on separate reels for cleaner tracking.

Where do the sales and leads go?

One contacts list and one home screen. Every buyer, email lead and booking becomes a contact with a source tag, exportable to CSV. The home screen shows revenue, DMs sent, link clicks and follower growth over 7, 30 or 90 days, across all item types.

Payouts for everything land weekly in your bank, and with 0% platform fee, flat pricing from ₹199 a month is the only cost to Viralyze.

Frequently asked questions

**Can one customer buy a course and book a session in one checkout?** They are separate checkouts, but you can mention the session link in the course's post-purchase message from the Inbox.

**Can I hide an item from the bio page but still send it by DM?** Yes. A product, freebie or booking page can be sent by Auto-DM without being placed on the bio page.

**Is there a limit on the number of products or services?** No per-item limit is set out in the plans; Starter includes shop, courses, smart links and link in bio at 0% fee.
