How to Set Up Bookings Where Customers Pay by Card Internationally

19 October 2026

Many Indian creators have a sizeable overseas audience: NRIs, students abroad, and people who found a Hinglish reel and stayed. They cannot pay by UPI, and a bank transfer is too much friction for a ₹2,000 consultation. The fix is a booking page that accepts cards, runs sessions on Google Meet, and lets calendars sort out the time zone. Viralyze does all three.

This guide covers the setup, time zones, and what to say in your reel so overseas viewers know they can book.

Can international clients pay for my sessions by card?

Yes. Your booking page takes cards through an RBI-authorised payment aggregator, alongside UPI and net banking for Indian customers. The client picks the slot, enters their card, and the booking confirms.

Payouts arrive in your bank weekly. Pricing for international customers is shown in USD on the Viralyze plans themselves, and your own service prices are whatever you set.

How do I set up a booking link for overseas clients?

Add your services, make the format online, connect Google Calendar and turn on upfront payment. The steps:

1. In the Viralyze app, open Bookings and add a service such as "Visa interview prep, 45 min, Google Meet". 2. Connect Google Calendar and select which calendars block slots. Your calendar's time zone is the base. 3. Add days off and buffers. Late-night slots for US clients may need a buffer after them so the next morning stays clear. 4. Switch on payment upfront; cards are accepted automatically. 5. Set the cancellation rule. A 24-hour cut-off is sensible when clients are many time zones away. 6. Put the shre.pro link in your bio and in an Auto-DM.

How are time zones handled?

The calendar invite shows the session in the client's own local time. You create the slot in your time zone, and when the booking lands in Google Calendar with the client as a guest, Google displays it to them in theirs.

The Meet link is inside the event, so a client in Toronto opens their calendar at the right local time and joins. Keep your available hours honest, though: if you open 6 PM to 10 PM IST, a client in New York sees morning slots, which suits them, while a client in Sydney sees late night, which may not.

A concrete example: an immigration consultant

Farhan posts reels explaining Canadian study permits. A large share of his viewers are already abroad or planning to be.

He sets a keyword "PERMIT" on each reel. The Auto-DM says: "Here is my 45-minute study permit consult on Google Meet. Card and UPI both work. Pick a time in your own time zone." The booking page lists the service at a single price, and a client in Vancouver pays by card at 8 AM their time for a slot that is 8:30 PM in Hyderabad.

The booking lands in Farhan's calendar, the client gets the invite, and a WhatsApp reminder goes out before the call.

What should the reel say to overseas viewers?

Say that cards are accepted and that sessions are online. Overseas viewers often assume an Indian creator only takes UPI, so one line removes the doubt: "Cards accepted, sessions on Google Meet, book in your own time zone."

In your Viralyze contacts list each booking carries a source tag, and the funnel for the reel shows how many comments became paid bookings. If a reel aimed at NRIs gets DMs but few bookings, check whether the slots on offer suit their hours.

Frequently asked questions

**Do I need a separate account or payment gateway for international cards?** No. Card payments run through the same RBI-authorised aggregator used for Indian cards, and payouts go to the same bank account weekly.

**Can I show a different price to international clients?** A service has one price on the booking page; if you want a separate overseas offer, create a second service with its own price and send it by a different keyword.

**What if the client cancels from abroad?** If your rule allows self-cancellation and they cancel before the cut-off, the refund returns to their card automatically.
