How to Run a Weekly Content Plan Around Keywords

19 October 2026

A weekly content plan around keywords means every post you publish has a keyword attached, a DM waiting behind it, and a single offer it leads to. Instead of asking "what should I post", you ask "which offer does this post feed". If you use Viralyze, you can build each automation in about a minute and schedule it to start with your next post, so the plan and the DMs go live together.

This is the system many creators settle into once they stop treating posts and sales as separate activities.

Why plan content around keywords at all?

Because a keyword turns a post into a measurable funnel. A post without a keyword gets likes and maybe a few "link?" comments that you answer late or never.

A post with a keyword gets comments you can count, DMs you can track, and clicks you can compare week on week. The content plan stops being a creative exercise and becomes a sales schedule.

The three-offer rule

Most weeks you only need three offers in rotation. More than that confuses your audience and your reporting.

  • A free thing (a checklist, a PDF, a template) with a keyword like GUIDE or NOTES.
  • A paid thing (a course, a product, a session) with a keyword like PRICE or BUY.
  • A booking (a call or appointment) with a keyword like BOOK or CALL.

Each offer gets its own Auto-DM, its own link or page, and its own funnel in Viralyze analytics. You will know by Sunday which offer the week actually sold.

How many posts should the week have?

Four posts is a comfortable number for a solo creator: two reels, one carousel, and one story sequence. Each gets a keyword from the three-offer rule, with one offer appearing twice.

Here is an example week for a freelance interior designer:

1. Monday reel, "5 mistakes in small living rooms", keyword ROOM, sends a free PDF checklist. 2. Wednesday carousel, "Before and after: 2BHK in Pune", keyword QUOTE, sends the booking page for a 30-minute consult. 3. Friday reel, "What a design consult actually includes", keyword QUOTE again, same booking page. 4. Sunday story, a poll about colour choices, story reply keyword SWATCH, sends the paid colour palette product.

By Sunday night the funnel for QUOTE has two posts feeding it, and the designer can see which one produced more bookings.

Setting it up on Sunday evening

Build all four automations in one sitting so the week runs itself.

1. Open Viralyze and create the ROOM automation on "any post" or on the specific post once it exists. Write the DM, attach the PDF, add a public reply like "Sent you a DM". 2. Create the QUOTE automation and attach the booking page. Turn on the follow-gate if you want new followers from this post. 3. Create the SWATCH automation as a story-reply trigger and attach the product checkout. 4. Schedule each one to start with your next post or on the day and time you plan to publish. 5. Set an auto-pause for seven days so old automations do not pile up. 6. Use the live tester on each: type "quote pls" and "ROOM??" and confirm they trigger.

The whole session takes well under half an hour.

Reviewing the week

Spend ten minutes on Monday looking at three things: which keyword got the most comments, which got the most clicks, and which produced a sign-up, sale or booking.

Then adjust. If ROOM produced 200 DMs but only 15 clicks, the DM text or the PDF title needs work. If QUOTE produced 40 DMs and 9 bookings, that is a strong offer, so give it two posts again next week.

Keep the keyword names constant across weeks. Changing them resets your comparisons.

Frequently asked questions

**Can I reuse the same keyword on multiple posts in one week?** Yes. One automation set to "any post" will catch the keyword wherever it appears, or you can run separate per-post automations to compare posts against each other.

**What if a post flops and gets no comments?** Leave the automation running for the seven days and move on. Note the format in your review so you do not repeat it, and check whether the caption actually told people what to comment.

**Should every post have a keyword?** No. Purely personal or storytelling posts can sit outside the plan. Three or four keyword posts a week is enough to build a steady lead flow.
