How to Reply to 'Link Bhejo' Automatically

19 October 2026

A link bhejo auto reply sends the link the moment someone asks for it, in a DM, without you opening Instagram. You set a keyword automation that recognises "link bhejo", "link do", "link plz" and the rest, attach the link, and each commenter gets it within about a second. The Viralyze app runs this on the official Instagram API, can apply one automation to every post you make, and tracks how many of those links are actually tapped.

Why does "link bhejo" need its own automation?

Because it is the single most common comment on Indian creator accounts, and it is a request, not a compliment. Leaving it unanswered for a day is the same as a shop assistant ignoring a customer who asked where the till is.

The link cannot go in the comment either; Instagram comments are not clickable, which is exactly why people ask for a DM.

One link or many?

Decide before you build. Three patterns work:

  • One evergreen link, such as your link-in-bio page, sent for every "link" comment on any post. Use the "any post" trigger.
  • A post-specific link, such as the exact product in that reel. Use the "specific post" trigger and it overrides the general one for that reel.
  • Different links by keyword on the same post: "link bhejo" sends the product, "guide bhejo" sends a PDF.

A tech reviewer in Noida can run the evergreen link for the bio page and a specific link on each unboxing reel pointing at that product's checkout.

How do you set it up?

1. Create a smart link for the destination; it gets click tracking. 2. Open automations, choose the "any post" trigger. 3. Add keywords: LINK, "link bhejo", "link do", "link pls", "link send karo". 4. Write the DM: "Yeh raha link: (smart link). Agar kuch aur chahiye toh reply karein." Viralyze varies the wording slightly across DMs. 5. Set the public reply to "Bhej diya, DM check karein 💌". 6. Run "Link bhejo bhai" through the live tester and set it Live.

Now every post you publish from here on answers its own link requests. When a reel needs a different link, add a post-specific automation for it.

Does the follow-gate help or hurt here?

It depends on what the link is. For a free resource the follow-gate is reasonable: Viralyze asks non-followers to follow, nudges up to three times, then sends the link anyway. For a paid product, many creators skip the gate so nothing stands between the buyer and checkout. Followers always get the link straight away.

How do you know the links are being used?

Each smart link shows clicks, and the per-automation funnel shows comments, matched, delivered and clicked. On the Home screen, link clicks sit next to DMs sent and revenue over 7, 30 or 90 days.

If a reel has 600 "link bhejo" comments and 90 clicks, the DM copy or the landing page needs work; if it has 600 comments and 500 clicks, post more of that.

What happens to the conversation after the link?

Replies come to the Inbox with the originating comment attached, inside Instagram's 24-hour window, and you can answer from the app or from Instagram. Each person becomes a contact with a source tag, so a month later you can export everyone who asked for the laptop-stand link and tell them about the next review.

Frequently asked questions

**Can I change the link later without rebuilding the automation?** Yes. Edit the DM or the smart link destination and future DMs use the new one.

**Does "any post" also cover old posts?** It applies to comments made after the automation is Live, on any post; add a specific-post automation for a particular older reel if you want a different link there.

**Is there a limit on how many link DMs I can send?** Plans include unlimited Auto-DMs, within Instagram's rule of one private reply per comment within 7 days.
