Does Instagram Automation Post Anything to My Feed?

What can an Auto-DM tool do publicly?

One thing: reply to a comment. When someone comments "LINK" on your reel and the automation sends them a DM, it can also leave a short public reply under their comment, such as "Sent you a DM 💌". The reply text is yours, and the app rotates between variations you approve so the thread does not look mechanical.

That reply serves a purpose. It tells the next viewer that commenting works, and it signals to the commenter to check their inbox. You can switch it off per automation if you prefer a quiet thread.

Why can't it post to my feed?

Because publishing is a separate permission from messaging in Meta's API, and the app does not request it. When you connect Viralyze you see the permissions list on Meta's screen: reading comments, sending messages, and related items. Posting content is not among them, so the token the app receives cannot do it even if someone wanted it to.

This is different from tools that log in with your password. Those have full control of the account and could post anything. A scoped token has no such reach.

Does it change my profile, bio or settings?

No. Your bio stays as you wrote it. If you use the Viralyze link-in-bio page, you paste that link into your bio yourself, once, and the page behind it updates on its own with your products, bookings and links. The app never edits the bio field or anything else in your Instagram settings.

A consultant who connects her account and sets "AUDIT" as a keyword will see exactly one change on Instagram: comments containing that word now receive a private reply and, if she enabled it, a short public acknowledgement. Her grid, highlights and bio are untouched.

What about likes, follows and story posts?

None of those. The app does not like comments, does not follow anyone back, and does not post or reply to stories publicly. Story replies are a trigger, meaning if someone replies to your story with a keyword they can receive a DM, but the app never publishes a story of its own.
